Typical garage clearance prices
| Garage | Typical guide price |
|---|---|
| Single garage, light clutter | £250 to £400 |

| Double garage or heavy waste | £600 to £900+ |
These are guide prices for 2026. Ask for a fixed price from photos.
What affects the price
- Volume. How full the space is, floor to ceiling.
- Heavy materials. Soil, rubble, timber and old workbenches take more time and disposal cost.
- Chemicals. Paint, oil, solvents and gas bottles need specific handling. See the Kent recycling centres guide.
- Access. Narrow driveways and long carries add labour.
- Items worth reusing. Good tools and bikes can offset part of the cost.
Items that cost more or cannot be taken
Asbestos roofing and panels, and some chemical and flammable items, are not part of a standard clearance. If you are unsure, tell us in your message.
Preparing your garage
- Set aside anything you want to keep.
- Clear the driveway or tell us about parking.
- Take photos from the door and from inside, including shelves and the roof space.
